Photography Courses
 
  The photography courses are mostly one on one tuition, but groups are available, if you have several people interested. If a group is organised then numbers are limited to a maximum of six people. Any more and the classes get too large and people don't benefit from that very well, as some people end up getting more attention than others. That is why a one on one tuition is now the prefered method. Corse pricing for a group of 6 people is $70/persson. Please check for other group sizes.  

Introduction to SLR Photography

An introduction to the SLR camera is an introduction to how to use the camera and the basics of photography. All the important aspects are explained, it's functions and how to take shots in full manual. All the goodies such as film speed (ISO) shutter speed, f-stops, lenses and focal length and depth of field just to name a few are covered. It costs $150 for a 3 hour session and a lot of material is covered and lots of photos are taken in real application.

  

SLR Photography Advanced

The advanced course assumes you have already paticipated in the beginner course or are confident in the use of an SLR camera especially in manual. In this course we cover more advanced aspects of photography and how to get better photos, and how to be a little more creative.  Things covered are composition, fill lighting, reflection, use of angles, colours, an in depth look at depth of field, using the time of day to your advantage, in camera cropping are just a few areas covered. Again it is $150 for a 3 hour session and again lots of practical use of the camera and techniques are used on the day.

  

Studio Photography Course

The studio photography course covers all the basics of studio lighting and understanding all the equipment.  It also covers basics of portrait photography and photographing people in general. It also covers some basics of posing people for some great results. A model is used for this session. It costs $150 for a 3 hour session. An extra $75 applies for the model. If you bring a partner or someone along as a model then the model fee is waived.

 

Artistic Nude Photography Course

The artistic nude version of the studio course is designed for people who are comfortable wwith using their camera and preferably have completed the studio course. Studio lighting and use is covered briefly before more adavnced techniques are shown. The course will cover all aspects of nude photography and will teach good lighting techniques as well as how to pose a model what sort of things to do and avoid as well as how to find models and how to deal with them correctly and proper etiquette around a nude model. A nude model is provided for this course. The course is $150 for 3 hours and the model fee is $200. Once again the model fee can be waived if you bring a willing participant.
